Solar plant plans approved
PHOENIX (AP) – The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved construction of a $2 billion solar generating plant near Gila Bend. The Solana Generating Station planned by Abengoa Solar Inc. of Spain will provide 280 megawatts of electricity to Arizona Public Service.
