SAVE MONEY WITH SOLAR

FIND YOUR BEST SOLAR SOLUTION WITH HARMON SOLAR. LEASE, PURCHASE, FINANCE WITH ZERO DOWN OPTIONS AVAILABLE. HARMON IS YOUR ONE-STOP SHOP FOR SOLAR. WE HAVE A SOLAR SOLUTION FOR ALMOST EVERY HOME.

How does it work? Solar panels installed on your roof convert sunlight into direct current, or DC power. This power is sent to an inverter, which converts it to alternating current, or AC, power. That's what's used in your home. So you accrue energy during daylight hours, and use it at night. It's that simple.

Harmon Solar wants you to get the most energy - and savings - out of your solar system. We'll help you identify the qualifying rebates for your system, and even file the paperwork for you. Schedule a free solar consultation today to learn how much you can save through the many solar incentive programs available.

State and Local Rebate Programs
Many state and utility companies have created programs to encourage homeowners to switch to solar. In Arizona you can earn a tax credit up to 10% of your solar solution's cost up to $1000!

Incentives are available in Arizona through the following utility companies:
Arizona Public Service (APS)
Customer Service: 602-371-7171
APS Solar Incentives

Salt River Project (SRP)
SRP Residential Solar Energy Programs: 602-236-4448
SRP Solar Incentives

Tucson Electric Power (TEP)
Net Metering Department: 520-917-3673
TEP Solar Incentives

Federal Tax Credits
Did you know you can deduct 30% of your solar system costs from your federal taxes through an Investment Tax Credit (ITC). If you don't expect to owe taxes this year, you can roll over your credit to the next year.

Every Home is Unique

Every home and every homeowner is different. If a solar company tells you that can save you a certain amount without ever seeing your roof or tracking your usage, beware. Harmon Solar will work with you to get the greatest possible energy savings for your home and lifestyle. While not every home is perfect for solar, most can benefit and save money. To find out how much you can save, call the experts at Harmon Solar.

Switch To Clean Renewable Solar Energy

When it comes to clean, efficient, renewable energy, nothing beats solar. In 2015 the solar industry will reach the milestone of installing solar on 1-million homes in the U.S.. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, using solar electricity to power 1 million homes would reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 4.3 million tons per year, the equivalent of removing 850,000 cars from the road. In addition, creating energy is a water intensive process. In the U.S., electricity production accounts for more than 40 percent of all daily freshwater withdrawals. Solar photovoltaic systems do not require any water to generate electricity. This is especially important in Arizona with its limited water resources.

I have an HOA. Can I still get solar?

Yes! Arizona statute §33-1616 says homeowner’s associations must allow solar installations. In fact, Harmon Solar will work with your HOA to get all approvals and meet all standards.

How do I take care of my solar panels?

Solar panels are basically maintenence-free. When you lease solar, any service issues are taken care of for the 20 year term of the lease by your leasing company. If you purchase your system, the panels and inverters are covered by the manufacturer's warranties. Panels are typically covered for 20-25 years and inverters are covered for 10 years on average. Harmon Solar guarantees installation workmanship for 5 years. Roofing penetrations are guaranteed for 5 years.

Do solar panels need to be cleaned?

Rooftop solar systems require no maintenance. Even in Arizona, it rains enough to keep your panels clean and producing electricity. If your panels ever look really dusty, you can rinse them off with a hose to keep them producing electricity at their highest level.
