Julie King / CEO & Dan King / COO

Last month, a variety of highly successful, well-regarded companies gathered together for the first-ever Industry Leaders of Arizona Awards (ILoA), sponsored by Arizona Business Magazine. The program recognizes the contributions and impact of Arizona-based companies in five key industries – alternative energy, distribution and logistics, healthcare, hospitality, and retail. After completing a rigorous application and interview process, Harmon Electric is excited to announce that we are the winner of the Alternative Energy category! During the awards ceremony, we were in good company among an impressive list of finalists.

When asked how the husband and wife team, Dan and Julie King feel about the award, according to CEO, Julie King: “We are so proud that we’ve been able to continue my father’s legacy and build a bigger name for Harmon Electric. We credit our amazing team of employees and partners for helping us become a leader in our industry.”

A second-generation, family-owned-and-operated business, for 37 years Harmon Electric has evolved with the changing times, remaining one of the few electrical contracting firms in business for this length of time. Over the years, the company has expanded with the needs of the growing city and has added services to accommodate demand for energy efficiency and alternative energy. Harmon Electric began as a service only company, growing to a full service energy partner in 2008, also offering solar design and installation through a company division, Harmon Solar.

Harmon Electric continues to grow and diversify to ensure the company will always remain an industry leader.
